--The Roots at Amherst College in Amherst, MA
--Third Eye Blind at Allegheny College in Meadville, PA
--Ludacris and Jay Sean at Bentley College in Waltham, MA
--Mstrkrft at UVM in Burlington, VT
--Dashboard Confessional at Siena College in Loudonville, NY
--Easy Star All-Stars at Green Mountain College in Poultney, VT
--Flo Rida at SUNY Albany in Albany, NY
--The Cool Kids at St. Lawrence College in Canton, NY
--Carolina Liar at Castleton State College in Castleton

A lot for a single weekend. Thanks to our hardworking staff and local crews for making it all come together!

March 2010: Snoedown Festival, Rutland, VT

We were very excited to be the sole provider of production services for Snoe.down, a music and sports festival featuring the band moe. With a main stage at Rutland's Spartan Arena and three stages at Killington Ski Resort, the festival took place in our back yard. Atomic provided sound, lighting, staging, backline, barricade, bike-rack, pipe & drape, and power distribution. Atomic also provided extensive personnel, with 12 technicians, 4 stage managers, and 25 stage hands. Kevin Margolin acted as Production Manager, working for our friends at Great Northeast Productions, who produced the event, to ensure that everything ran smoothly. Judging from high attendance -- Saturday's show was sold out -- and great local feedback, we are happy to call Snoe.down a success!

February 2010: China-US Hand in Hand, New York, NY

Atomic provided audio production for China-US Hand in Hand, a special program produced by China Central Television and showcasing successful performing artists from both countries. Filmed at the Hammerstein Ballroom in Manhattan, the event featured Harry Connick Jr, Wyclef Jean, classical pianist Xiangdong Kong, and many others.

January 2010: FIS World Cup, Lake Placid, NY

Atomic was a big part of this month’s World Cup skiing competition in Lake Placid, NY, providing audio production services for a number of venues. The competition, which featured aerials, moguls, and the first-ever ski cross event, was located at Whiteface Mountain as well as the Mckenzie-Intervale Ski Jumping Complex. Our crew fought steep slopes and cold temperatures to successfully execute an exciting event.

December 2009: Il Divo tour, Northeast USA

We joined operatic pop vocal group Il Divo for a Christmas tour across the Northeast. Stopping at a number of venues including the Wang Center in Boston, the Beacon Theater in New York City, and the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, the tour played to packed crowds in a number of major cities. We sent out a Digico D5 and SD7, which covered the over 60 inputs required by the singers and their orchestra. Thanks to our hardworking crew for handling this challenge with great success.

September 2009: Larkfest, Albany, NY

We returned for another year at Larkfest, a challenging yet rewarding gig in downtown Albany, NY. We brought in 14 technicians to provide sound, staging, and backline for 5 stages on Albany’s Lark Street, which was packed with thousands of people for what turned out to be a great day.

September 2009: John Fogerty: New York, New York

As a follow up to our recent tour, we joined John Fogerty in New York City for a pair of events. First, we brought in a large audio package for a concert in Manhattan at South Street Seaport. Next, we joined Mr. Fogerty for a live radio concert at the studios of Sirius Radio. We were pleased to get back to work with the Fogerty team for two successful events.

August 2009: Champlain Valley Fair: Essex Junction, VT

We were back again this year at the Champlain Valley Fair in Essex Junction, Vermont, providing production management as well as backline services. This year’s Fair featured artists such Brad Paisley, Kelly Clarkson, and Kid Rock, as well as comedian Jeff Dunham. As always it was a well-organized and smooth-running event; we were happy to be a part.

July 2009: All Points West Festival: Jersey City, NJ

Continuing our long-standing relationship with Jay-Z, we were happy to be a part of this year’s All Points West Festival. An odd set of circumstances brought us down to the festival, located in Liberty Park just outside the Big Apple, and featuring artists such as Coldplay, Tool, and MGMT. With the Beastie Boys sidelined due to the illness of rapper MCA, Jay-Z stepped in as a last-minute substitute, bringing Atomic with him to an exciting and successful event.

July 2009: Vermont Symphony Orchestra Summer Festival Tour

Well into our second decade with the VSO Summer Series, Atomic provided sound, lighting, and staging for the traveling festival. With beautiful sights and unique venues, the Series is a highlight of our summer festival lineup.

July 2009: Vermont Lake Champlain Quadracentennial Celebration, Burlington, VT

Atomic was happy to be a part of the Lake Champlain Quadracentennial, providing audio, lighting, staging and backline for a large variety of events including concerts by Tony Bennett, Steve Earle, and Ween. We also provided the mobile stage outfitting the Burlington Waterfront Park, for which Kevin Margolin managed production. A patient crew worked through tough weather conditions to ensure the success of the challenging, complex festival, which lasted for eight days.

June 2009: Burlington Discover Jazz Festival, Burlington, VT

This was our 10th year working with the Burlington Discover Jazz Festival, one of our favorite events. We provided production management and sound as well as backline services for the festival, which lasted for 10 days and featured 12 stages. This year’s festival featured artists such as Branford Marsalis, Diana Krall, Culture, Yusef Lateef and many more.
